Credit-Scoring AI FRIA Template
Credit-scoring AI is one of the few use cases that explicitly requires an Article 27 FRIA. This template specialises the generic FRIA structure for the triple-stack regulatory regime (AI Act + GDPR Article 22 + Consumer Credit Directive Article 18) that applies to credit decisions about natural persons.

- Volume of decisions per year.
Section 2 — Affected natural persons
- Demographic breakdown of applicant base.
- Protected-characteristic groups present in training data + scoring pool.

Section 4 — GDPR Article 22 + AI Act Article 14 human oversight
- Is the decision solely automated? If yes, which Article 22(2) exemption applies.
- Meaningful human review for declines + edge cases.
- Right to explanation infrastructure (per CCD Article 18 + GDPR Article 15(1)(h) + EDPB WP251).
- Right to contest the decision (per GDPR Article 22(3)).
Section 5 — Triple-stack mitigations
- AI Act Article 26 deployer obligations satisfied.
- GDPR Article 22(3) safeguards in place.

Section 6 — Monitoring + alternative-data Article 5 audit
